Spring clothing haul - some new wardrobe pieces

some of my recent wardrobe additions!!!

It’s officially spring, and I am officially gearing up for the busy summer ahead. Before I can dive into curating my outfits for my summer trips, I wanted a few pieces to spruce up my current wardrobe. If you read my first blog post, you would know I am pretty picky with clothing. I want pieces that I’ve thought about, pieces I can pair with my existing wardrobe.

here are the newest additions to my ever-evolving but hopefully thoughtful wardrobe

teal cardigan with multicolored buttons

Okay so this cardigan actually isn’t in my normal color palette… I avoid cool tones. BUT, I came across this cardigan on Depop and was instantly reminded of a cardigan I saw on Pinterest that I was obsessed with. I love the multi-colored buttons, and how close together they are. This piece is also 100% lambswool, which is very important to me, and means it’s so warm!! I’ve already worn it quite a few times this spring. Also, the colorful buttons mean I can pair certain colored shoes with it, which I love. I’m a fan of a good coordination.

white crochet cardigan

I am soooo pleased with this one! I found it on Depop while I was searching ‘made in france.’ The main inspiration for it was my Honeymoon moodboard. This is going to fit very nicely within the pieces I plan to wear! It’s white, made in france, and 100% cotton. The best part is it was about $25.

Also, I’ve already worn it once and can say it s SO breathable! So even though it’s long sleeved, I will be able to wear it on a hot day.

red and cream striped 3/4 sleeve top

Hello Purple Noon aesthetic! (read my recent movie blog post for that reference).

As I was searching ‘made in france’ on Depop, I came across this top. It’s 100% cotton, and the overall quality is amazing. The fabric is thick and substantial. I LOVE that the stripes are red and warm white.

These types of nautical inspired pieces are my fave. I love a red stripe! I’ve already worn this one a few times.

cream lambsool midi-skirt

If only this skirt fit the way I was hoping it would… I think it’s a little outside my comfort zone because the waist is a low-rise instead of my usual high-rise. Also I just don’t have the correct undergarments for this skirt yet (lol).

It’s a lambswool piece that I believe is modern. I got it on Depop, of course. The best part are the cute pom poms lining the bottom.

Still debating if I should keep it, or resell it.

white wide leg pants

Mango: my new favorite place to buy pants! At least the wide leg ones that I now have three pairs of. Every time I go to the mall I have to stop by the Mango to buy another color. I wear a pair of dark wash and maroon ones almost every single week. They fit me nice and are SO comfortable, which is a big deal for jeans.

On my most recent mall trip, I bought this white pair. I have to admit I haven’t worn them yet, but that’s because I have to wear them with heels since they are a taddd long without heels.

Love the way these new pieces fit in my closet. As for moving forward, I am now in full on Bachelorette / Honeymoon mode when it comes to buying clothing, so stay tuned for those style diaries later this year!

XO
